Payment Terms and Billing

  • Web design projects: Typically 50% upfront, 50% on completion
  • Hosting services: Annual or monthly billing as agreed
  • Domain registration: Annual fees paid in advance
  • Marketing services: Monthly retainer or project-based fees

Payment Processing

  • All payments must be made in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise agreed
  • We accept bank transfers, mobile money, and other approved payment methods
  • Late payments may incur additional charges and service suspension
  • Refunds are subject to our specific refund policy outlined in service agreements

Price Changes

  • We reserve the right to modify our pricing with 30 days' written notice for ongoing services. New pricing will apply to renewals and new orders.

Intellectual Property Rights

  • All content, features, and functionality of our website and Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by WebGlam and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Client Content and Materials

  • You retain ownership of content and materials you provide to us
  • You grant us license to use your materials for project delivery
  • You represent that you have rights to all materials provided
  • We may showcase completed projects in our portfolio with your permission

Developed Websites and Code

  • Upon full payment, you receive ownership of custom code developed specifically for your project
  • You receive usage rights for third-party components and frameworks used
  • We retain the right to use general techniques and know-how in future projects

  • Project scope and complexity
  • Client responsiveness and material provision
  • Technical requirements and third-party dependencies

Client Responsibilities

  • Provide required materials and content promptly
  • Respond to requests for feedback within agreed timeframes

Changes and Revisions

  • Minor revisions within project scope are included
  • Major changes may require additional time and costs

Hosting and Domain Services

  • Technical issues beyond our control

Data Backup and Security

  • Clients are responsible for maintaining their own backup copies
  • We implement security measures but cannot guarantee complete protection
  • Clients must use strong passwords and secure access credentials

Domain Registration

  • Domain registration is subject to registry policies and requirements
  • We act as an intermediary for domain registration services
  • Domain ownership details must be accurate and up-to-date
  • Domain renewals are the client's responsibility with our assistance

Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited Uses

  • Illegal activities or content that violates Kenyan law
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Sending spam or unsolicited communications
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights of others
  • Adult content or materials inappropriate for general audiences
  • Activities that may harm our infrastructure or other users

Content Standards

Service Suspension and Termination

Limitation of Liability

  • Client's failure to backup data or maintain security

Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or technical failures of third-party services.
